Have dried fruit, will travel.
 You guys, I have a confession.

I love dried plums.

Yes, prunes.

Let's be honest, I love pretty much any dried fruit.  But the plums take the cake.  They're chewy, not leather-like, and portable.  5 of 'em makes for 100 calorie snack.

Head to Trader Joe's.  Buy the non-sorbate ones.  You'll thank me after.
