Back to it.

New week.  Back to it.

First though?  The amazing salad I got for $3.50 from our cafeteria at work today. 

Lettuce, cucumbers, kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, bell peppers, and a bit of feta.  NOM.

Yesterday's run was my first since the half.  I set out after work for two quick miles.  And quick they were!  I happened to glance down about 1/2 mile in and saw 08:57 min/miles looking back at me.  What the?!  My legs were burning, but my lungs were not.  Usually it's the opposite!

So anyways.  Didn't quite hold that pace for the rest of the run (LOL IN MAH DREAMS!), but busted out the rest, and headed home a sweaty mess.  Decide to go back to my old after-work friend, Jillian Michaels.

Yeah, the 30 Day Shred.  Everyone has heard of it.  I personally LOVE it.  Doing it 5x/week when I first started losing weight and running helped me lose inches & tone.  I haven't done it in months.  And it showed.  Where I could usually bust through Level 3 (the hardest) I was TOAST trying to do Level 1 with weights.

Moral of the story:  DON'T STOP CROSS TRAINING THX.

Today - after spending most of the day prepping for a 3 hour meeting I'm hosting tomorrow AM - I decided to do the Shred again. 

My favorite part of working out inside?  You don't have to match.

Pink/grey top / purple shorts / black shoes.  ROCK IT

My 30DS has dust on it, I may bust it out to get in some early morning workouts at home...but lately when my alarm goes off early all I want to do is hit're inspiring me though. I'm scared to see what level one will feel like after months of not doing it.
