T-3 days!

Oh boy!  I'm officially in 'Oh God' mode for Sunday.  Not in a bad way - just in a 'Oh, right, race, you can do this, avoid wine, eat some carbs, ps what are you wearing?' kind of way.

SO.  The clothes!  The most important part!

The original plan was for Kerrie & I to race in our respective college's colors (since they are in-state rivals), but I have yet to find a purple running skirt/plan adequately.  This plan has been nixed.

Weather should be in the high 50s/low 60s, edging closer to 70 by the time we finish.  With this in mind, I'll be running in a lululemon tanktop (Black Citron Cool Racerback) & running skirt.

I've done all of my long runs in the skirt + either capris or my Moving Comfort 7-Inch inseam shorts.  The shorts are a bit snug (accidentally dried them in dryer.  WHOOPS.)  No worries, Zappos is delivering new ones tomorrow.  (Needed another pair anyways...they were my only pair of running shorts!)

What else?  Mike & I are sitting down to coordinate spectating spots for him & Mel's hubs.  I'm hoping to put him around Mile 3, at Mile 6-7, and Mile 9/Finish Line.  (yes, we run PAST the finish line at mile 9 and go out on an out & back).   I want him staged and ready at the finish!

For water/nutrition - going to rely on water stops first half, and have my Nathan Handheld w/ Nuun ready w/ Mike if I need it at mile 6.  I plan on gu'ing and chomping early...even just the placebo/mental part of taking it for that early in the morning will help!

I've come to realize that while I trained my ASS off for a 2:35 finish...I'm not at 100%.  6 weeks ago I couldn't even run!  So.  While this will be my first half, it can only get better from here!
