I've been using MapMyRun to 'build' runs - especially when I am downtown - as it helps to capture the elevation better than Daily Mile does. I forgot the exact directions for this new route on my desk, but figured I'd be good to go w/ the Garmin. Oh no. Once it loaded - 4 blocks - it had me running a 4:30/mi for a block (what) - before it started auto-pausing and auto-starting every 5 seconds due to lost satellite signal.
Shoot. I'm going to have to start figuring out my remaining mileage will be on future runs once I get out of the downtown skyscraper land.
It wasn't that much of an exciting run - although the 20+ homeless people on Wall St. did move and make a little tunnel for me to run through - very kind - but I felt STRONG.
The rest of this week:
Today: Cross-training w/ Erik
Wednesday: 3mi // hill repeats after work downtown
Thursday: Rest!!
Friday: 3mi // Lunch
Saturday AM: Bowl 5+ games at West Seattle
Saturday PM : 4mi
Sunday: Rest
What I hope to do on Saturday...
